As a district, we know we can't do this work alone. Our students and staff are strongest when they have a community that believes in them, supports them, and proudly stands behind them.
We're grateful for partners like Habitat for Humanity and for everyone who continues to champion our students.

As part of our commitment to fostering strong partnerships and continuing to grow our school district, our Community Outreach Coordinator, Ashley Brown, recently had the opportunity to spend the day collaborating with communications teams from the School Districts of Lee and Collier counties.
The group toured WINK News and Gulf Coast News, gaining valuable insight into newsroom operations, media relations, and emerging communications trends. They also shared ideas, discussed best practices, and planned for the upcoming school year. Opportunities like these strengthen our ability to tell the #OneDeSoto story, celebrate the incredible work happening across our district, and keep our students, staff, families, and community informed and engaged.
💙 Thank you to our neighboring districts and local media partners for a day of collaboration and learning!

🏁 2026 Administrative Retreat🏁
Our administrators participated in the annual Administrative Retreat. The 26-27 school year kicked off with a high-energy retreat centered around the Race Car theme. From building pit crews to selecting vehicles and sponsors that reflected their leadership styles, teams explored the importance of trust, collaboration, and working together to achieve success. While there were plenty of laughs along the way, the day also sparked meaningful conversations that will continue throughout the school year. We're excited to keep the momentum going as we work together to drive student success and the best year yet!
