💙🐾 September is Attendance Awareness Month! 🐾💙

The School District of DeSoto County is honored to join the City of Arcadia in recognizing Attendance Awareness Month. We extend our sincere thanks to the Arcadia City Council for presenting a proclamation acknowledging the importance of regular school attendance and its impact on student success.

School Board Members : Chair Jami Schueneman, Kelly Mercer, Vice Chair Dr. Sharon Goodman, Karen Chancey and Community Outreach Coordinator Ashley Brown proudly accepted the proclamation from Mayor Judy Wertz-Strickland, on behalf of the District, reaffirming our shared commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

When students show up, they build stronger connections, gain valuable learning experiences, and stay on the path to success.

Every Day Counts. Every Student Matters.

We are #OneDeSoto, all for kids.
