Congratulations to the DHS Academic Team for its second consecutive Florida Commissioner‘s Challenge Tournament Runner-Up finish this year - defeating Hardee, Monroe, Walton, Calhoun, Sumter, Wakulla, Putnam, Union and Suwannee Counties! We are so proud of them for representing DHS and the District so well. In the Division 3 Finals, held Saturday, DeSoto High School missed first place by a single question out of 75. The competitors this year were Roy Ortiz, Maritza Tovar, Kara Blosser, Wyatt Werner, Eliazar Montoya-Vazquez, and Annette Contreras. Next stop: Nationals in Atlanta!
