DMS Students Observe NASA Solar Eclipse "LIVE-FEED"

🌘✨🔭 On Monday, April 8,  Mrs. Villafuerte, DeSoto Middle School 8th Grade English and Language Arts teacher, presented a NASA “live-feed" to her classroom that detailed the very rare solar eclipse that, according to NASA’s website “...passed across North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun and.where the sky darkened as if it were dawn or dusk.” Our area will only get a partial eclipse — where the moon covered up to 57% of the sun around 3 p.m.
