DeSoto High School Public Safety Telecommunicator 911 Class, accompanied by teacher Michael Davis, recently visited the Sarasota County Emergency Operations Center! During their visit, students were able to tour the facility, and shadow representatives from the 911 Call Center.
Students met with dispatchers and emergency responders in real time as they interacted with a potential future employer! The class was also invited to return next year with its newest class of 911 students.
