Writer C.S. Lewis once wrote,“You can make anything by writing.” So true! And the DeSoto High School has created a Writer’s Guild Club so students can do just that - and it’s open to all of its students! The main goal of the club is to create a forum and opportunity for members to explore creative expression as they also build creativity and confidence in writing. The Club also helps members become better communicators, enhance critical thinking, and improve their reading - which are all vital job skills. The WGC meets weekly to work on developing writing skills and give feedback. WGC’s next meeting is TODAY (FRIDAY, MARCH 22nd) in Room 507. Interested in joining?
