Last Thursday, at the March DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce "EARLY BIRD" event, DeSoto Chamber’s March Students of the Month were recognized. DHS Principal White, and DMS Vice Principal Edsall, presented their school’s respective awards. Awardees for DHS were as follows: 9th grade - Emma Kinard, 10th grade - Isaac Clarke, 11th grade - Saige Barney, and grade 12 - Anis Rodriquez. DMS awardees were: 6th grade - Aiden Schiemer-Taylor, 7th grade - Michelle Nico-Solis, and 8th grade - Rafael Balbino. All awardees exemplified good character, diligence in completing their assignments on time, and a demonstrated effort to learn and be respectful to peers and teachers. We couldn’t be more proud of our students, teachers, administrators, and support staff!
