Sad News

We are sad to announce that the DVA as it is now known will not be available next school year 2022-2023! DeSoto County Schools is offering the DeSoto Virtual School/My District Virtual instead. Please see the information concernig this virtual option under the tab Student Services on the DeSoto County Schools website.
Thank you for being part of our wonderful DVA. It has been our pleasure to serve you and your students in this capacity for the last two years! Mrs. Gaither, Ms. Longenecker, and Mrs. Staples have loved educating your students and wish all of you the best in your future education journey. We welcome all of our DVA students back into our DeSoto County Schools (Brick and Mortar) or the DeSoto Virtual School/My District Virtual!

Virtual learning is a significant departure from traditional schooling. It is a commitment by the student and the entire family and should be considered carefully by all before enrolling in the program. Parents must be actively involved in the day-to-day education process, especially at the elementary level. Students will be expected to be proactive and responsible for their learning.
*** ALL students that would like to attend school virtually for the 2022-23 school year MUST complete the enrollment form found on this page. If a student is currently enrolled in a virtual option and does not complete the enrollment form, they will be placed in their traditional school.***
