District Information
The School District of Desoto County, located in a small and scenic agricultural community 40 miles to the east of Sarasota, Florida, our school district’s enroll 4,300 students comprising six schools which include three elementary schools (Memorial Elementary, West Elementary, and Nocatee Elementary), one middle school (DeSoto Middle), and one high school (DeSoto County High School).
