We are done with March and it is now April! We are extending the timeline for reserving your child’s copy of the Nocatee 2007/2008 yearbook. It is available for the low price of $12.00. If you need an order form, please let the school know. Checks for the yearbooks can be made out to the Nocatee Boosters. If there are any questions about the yearbook, please contact Danielle Pfeil or Alison Barriball at the school – 494-4511.
We are getting ready to send out worksheets for Campbell’s soup labels and Boxtops for Education. If your child fills the worksheet with boxtops or Campbell’s soup labels, he or she will receive a treat. Be sure to look for those. The worksheets will be coming home soon with your child(ren). Thank you for all of the parents that have sent in the box tops previously. Please continue to do so since this is an easy way to receive money for the school. Each nine weeks, the pod with the most labels sent in is given a popsicle party. Kindergarten has won for the first 2 nine weeks. Who has won the third nine weeks? We will soon see. Send in those box tops and Campbell’s labels. Maybe we will have a surprise winner for the last nine weeks of the school year.
Also, the Lowry Park Zoo DVDs are still for sale for those who have not ordered their DVDs. They are only $5.00 and have wonderful pictures of the children at the zoo and all of the animals. These DVDs are available in the office.
We are still collecting some money from the candy sale. If you have not turned in your money, please do so as soon as possible or call us if there is a problem. Contact Danielle Pfeil or Heather Hay at the school – 494-4511.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with Boosters. This is a great organization that helps with fundraisers to earn money for classroom supplies, trips, and needed equipment around the school. We are very close to making the wish of a new playground for the older grades a reality. So come on out to help and see what we are all about. Please join us at our next Boosters’ meeting on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008, at 5:30 pm in the Media Center. We look forward to seeing you there!
