Continuing Workforce Education courses are offered for the adult residents of DeSoto County that wish to enhance their employability skills.  All classes are fee based and textbooks are required for some.

WELDING!

We are planning a Welding class to begin after Labor Day

The class will be held on the campus of DeSoto County High School

Classes will start at 6 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.

Cost of the 36 hour class will be approximately $90 which includes the supply fee.

Interested persons should call  the Family Service Center at 993-1333

LIFELONG LEARNING

  Crafting Class

Class will start the middle of September 2007

Class time is 5:30p.m. - 7 p.m.

The instructor will offer demonstrations and provide assistance in creating imaginative and creative holiday craft projects.   This is definitely a "make it and take it" class". 

Enrollment is limited therefore interested persons should call the Family Service Center for more informaiton.
