Carol McQuay Music Scholarship Fund

       Many of us in DeSoto County are fortunate enough to have been touched by the life of Carol McQuay.  Carol taught music/band at DeSoto Middle School from 1991-1996.  She was a teacher who touched the life of every student who passed through her classroom.  She also taught all of us, students and teachers alike, about strength, love and courage.  As she rests in the arms of the Greatest Orchestrator, may her music fill the heavens for eternity.

       At this time we are in the progress of organizing a scholarship to memorialize Carol.  Our goal of $10,000 would allow us to provide a $400-$500 annual scholarship in perpetuity to a graduating DCHS student.
