because he is very timid and afraid of the dark. Edgecomb
strikes up a relationship with Coffey, and when Coffey heals him of
an painful bladder infection Edgecomb has his preconceptions
challenged. Convinced that Coffey is innocent, Edgecomb sets

installments or one complete collected edition.] |

I loved the entire book, but it was very sad and disappointing,
sometimes even confusing. I wish that the story would have
explained some things more thoroughly. Overall, I liked the
book very much. It gave many examples of miracles, the
supernatural, healing, guilt, reformation, memory, justice and
injustice, humanity, good and evil, forgiveness, and
prejudice. It taught many good lessons about life and how
things should be. |
