What is Role-playing?
Role-playing is easy and hopefully fun. Simply imagine yourself as a great hero. You have been "chosen" (by someone commonly known as the game master (GM) to undertake daring tasks of bravery and heroism. There are rules in role-playing just as there are rules in real life. Rules such as gravity. (actually....it depends on the setting your are in.) The GM tells you what is going on, and you tell him how you are going to react to it. You may have heard rumors and gossip that Role-playing is evil. This is far from the case. Role-playing is simply using your imagination with a some rules and fun mixed in. There are some people who have gone to extremes such as actually brandishing weapons or trying to cast magic spells. These are the people who give role-playing a bad name. Our group of role-players, however, are quite sure that the realm of fantasy is much different from real life.
Our current GM is Tyler Maassen.
