Great Thanks:
Thank you to all the girls that participated in the annual Hay Ride.
Thank you to all the girls that participated in the trip to the Ronald McDonald house. They greatly appreciated or $1,000 donation.
Please don't forget to save the tabs off of soda cans for the Ronald McDonald House.
We will also make our semi annual trip to Health Park Hospital to visit the pediatric ward.
Some of our current and past projects:
1. Participating in the cancer "Relay for Life" community fundraiser. One of our Omega Girls Lindsay Ridley took part in the locks for love for cancer patients.
2. Adopting a young child who has lost both of her parents. We enjoyed spending time with her each month, sharing Sunday afternoons with her at Jim Space, giving her a birthday party And, of course, an afternoon at McDonalds and Christmas with her were just a few of our highlights of the year spent with her.
3. Periodic visits to the nursing home.
4. Holding a fundraiser for a cancer victim and family.
5. Fixing holiday baskets for needy families.
6. Being responsible for donating and making Halloween candy bags for children at the Early Childhood Center.
7. We have adopted as our "little sister" a young child who suffers from multiple birth defects. We enjoy taking walks with her, singing, and reading to her.
8. We also have baby-sat monthly for the West Elementary School P.T.A. meetings.
