The induction ceremony of new NHS members will be held on January 28th.

As everyone knows, it’s an honor to be inducted into the National Honor Society. This year’s inductees will be "tapped" on the morning of January 28th where they will receive a rose and be asked into the club. The ceremony will be held that night at 6:30 in the school cafeteria. The NHS will be inducting 89 new members this year to go into the 80 member club.

The requirements to be inducted include having a 3.5 GPA or higher, and no long form referrals. The night of the ceremony, Mr. Adrian Cline, superintendent, and the NHS officers will speak and the new members will receive their NHS pins. These people have shown they have the four qualities of a NHS member, Character, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship.

" We’re hoping to have a good year with our new inductees, and with the new grading scale this will be our best year yet," exclaims Neha Patel, NHS vice-president.
