The DeSoto County High School Bulldog Bank is a project sponsored by The First State Bank of Arcadia and DeSoto County School Board. Savings Accounts are opened for students of the High School with a  minimum deposit of $5.00. Additional deposits or withdrawals are accepted daily, Monday through Friday from 11:40 A.M. to 1:45 P.M. Withdrawals over $25.00 will require one days notice if wanted in cash. The Bulldog Bank can issue a check for withdrawals of any amount daily. A student (grade 9 thru 11) can leave their account balance with the Bulldog Bank during the summer months  and the account will earn the same rate of interest. However, the Bulldog Bank will not be open for business during the summer months, therefore a student will not have access to their funds during this period. Interest is calculated on the daily balance at the rate of 3% and credited at the end of each month. To contact us (863) 494-3434 Ext.2580. The Bulldog Bank is run by the Accounting 2 students, under Mrs. Betty Bynes Supervision, and is located next to the Media Center.
