Getting Started With Skyward Family Access


Your username and password may be given to you in person, or they may be emailed to you at the email address you provide. If done through email, you will receive 2 messages to activate your account:

  • Email Message #1 will have the subject “Family Access Account Information.” It will contain a link which you will need to click. When that page loads in your web browser, you will need to enter your username, which should be included in the email. That should prompt the system to send you a second email.

  • Email Message #2 will have the subject “Forgotten Login/Password Assistance.” When you click the link in this email, you will be prompted to select a new password for Family Access.

Once you have your username and password, you are ready to use Skyward Family Access. To access the system, you have a couple options:

Once you’re logged in, you should find Family Access to be simple to use. A column of links down the left side of the screen will allow you to move from page to page to review information about your student.
