The ESE Department works diligently to provide a free and appropriate public education to students with disabilities in the least restrictive learning environment.

Our Vision:

The Exceptional Student Education Division of the School District of DeSoto strives to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, in partnerships with families and our community, in order to ensure student success in a global society.

Our Mission:

To consistently provide collaborative, child centered teams, consisting of knowledgeable staff, families, agencies, and other professionals to promote maximum student success.
