The School District of DeSoto County offers competitive salaries for all personnel. The instructional salary schedule follows.

The Payroll Department is responsible for processing employee compensation in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with all legislation, Board policy and collective bargaining units.

The School District uses a bi-weekly payroll schedule, paying every other Friday. The payroll schedule can be found in the Employee Handbook.

Additional services provided by our Payroll Department are:

· Answering questions regarding paychecks

· Maintainance of sick/personnel leave balances

· Providing salary verifications

· Coordinating Workers Compensation
